Oregon's 2009 qualified allocation plan for the 9% low-income housing tax credit program mentions "mixed-use projects" and "housing near employment centers" as potentially relevant local housing goals under its Program Goals section.  

Project Construction—Energy-Efficient Construction
Applicants can earn up to 10 points for meeting a recognized green building standard, including an energy efficiency standard.  

Green Certification
Oregon offers up to 10 points for properties that meet one of three green building standards: Enterprise Green Communities, Earth Advantage, Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, and Oregon Housing Services Corp.'s Path for Acquisition/Rehabilitation.

Green building and sustainable development ideas can add 10 points to an applicant's score in Oregon's 93-point competition for tax credits.
