Deirdre McDonald Greene (Managing Editor) has worked in publishing for her entire
career. She was an editorial assistant at American Politics magazine and at Little, Brown & Co. She
moved on to become editorial project manager at a national trade association
in Washington, DC; manager of an editorial agency in San Francisco; and a
freelance editor for clients such as the United Nations, HarperCollins, the
U.S. Institute for Peace, Adobe, and Sage Publishing. In 2004, she co-founded
Roaring Forties Press, a book publishing company.
