Speaking with Climate Reality Project's Alex Bogusky, former Vice President Al Gore suggests that people today need to “win the conversation” against skeptics of climate change in the same way people stood up to racist comments during the civil rights movement.
Gore also responded to Texas Governor Rick Perry's denial of climate change, including a recent comment that he believes there are "a substantial number of scientists who have manipulated data so that they will have dollars rolling in to their projects."
"This is an organized effort to attack the reputation of the scientific community as a whole. To attack their integrity, and to slander them with the lie that they are making up the science in order to make money," Gore said.
